Gingerbread Trim

 Shadows on Brick

I'm a big fan of the shadows gingerbread makes on older homes.

Longer view

This was likely a rather posh home at one time but now I believe it has been divided into apartments. The owner appears to be keeping the outside in pretty good condition.

I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.

Very attractive details.

I have loved your captures of gingerbread shadows. Love the detail in the shadow that is less obvious in the real thing.

Great shadows. Thumbs up. Really enjoyed the older home. The color of the brick is pretty.

When little, I thought the story of the Gingerbread boy rolling down the street was kinda scary.

I love the trim and the tiny window makes me want to see what kind of room is behind it.

I too like gingerbread trim on houses whether it casts shadows or not.

Thank you for your comment on my post.

I know you're a gingerbread person but it's been awhile since you've posted any of it so this is nice to see. And very beautiful!

I love it, and don't you just love the way the windows are done?

Beautiful, both in physical/matter and spirit/shadow.

Lovely Victorian, the exquisite and complicated trim the best part. And in brick - the victorians in this area are as lovely, but none seem to have been clad in brick. Nice to see its exterior maintained so nicely :)
