Deptford Pink/ Macro Monday

Diantus Armeria aka Deptford Pink

These pinks are garden escapes around here, often missed because they are tiny and can easily hide in the grass.

I love dianthus much more than their cousins the carnations, which are much too pretentious, especially when dyed.
